Members of the lab headed a few hours north to Toronto for the annual meeting of the American Educational Research Association (AERA) conference. Dr. Daley and Mike McCarthy presented at a roundtable about students with disabilities in social and emotional learning (SEL) curricula. Dr. Daley also presented with a colleague from the Museum of Science Boston about measuring “emotional disequilibrium and confusion” in informal learning settings. Handouts from both sessions are available here!
Dr. Daley’s work was featured on a new podcast for speech-language pathologists called “See, Hear, Speak.” This episode (#2) with lab collaborators Gabbie Schlichtmann and Alyssa Boucher focuses on stigma around learning disabilities and Universal Design for Learning. Congratulations to Tiffany Hogan and colleagues for launching this new effort! Check it out here!
Dr. Daley published an article with colleague Gabbie Rappolt-Schlichtmann in Learning Disability Quarterly.
